Hilti ensures that the old battery does not negatively impact your productivity.

  • After successfully exchanging your end-of-life Nuron battery with a replacement, the old battery will automatically lock over time.
  • When recharging on a connected Nuron charger, the battery will receive a lock command, typically after 10 additional charging cycles.

The red flashing LED on your Nuron battery confirms successful locking after exchanging it with a replacement.

  • You will observe this when pressing the battery button and using it with a Nuron tool.
  • Once locked, the battery cannot be charged further.

This flowchart provides a detailed overview of battery health, exchange, and locking.

Note:
Please ensure to remove the battery from your active tool park and please take care of proper recycling of the battery.
