Archived Locations are Jobsites and Warehouses that have been deactivated due to regulatory, accounting, or company policies. This feature lets you view and manage these archived locations.
Status of locations
There are three statuses for locations: Archived, Active, and Inactive, which are interchangeable.
- Archived: Indicates locations that are no longer active but retained for compliance or historical purposes.
- Active: Refers to currently operational locations that are in use.
- Inactive: Signifies locations that are temporarily not in use but not fully archived (as they may be activated again at a later stage)
Instructions:
- Archived Locations are visible only in the Administration -> Locations section under the 'Archived Locations'.

Select the location and the status you want to assign to the archived location (Active and Inactive).
Note:
- Archived Locations are hidden from any Location view/filter/import template/location list/location group.

You cannot transfer any Assets to Archived Locations.

In the Transfer workflow, Archive Locations are not available in the 'From Location' list or for quantity items present in the Transfer Cart.
- Active and inactive locations will be transferred to the 'Location' tab and unavailable in the archived location tab.
