Smart inventory: a feature to track assets/tools at a logical entity, such as a warehouse, container, van, or heavy equipment.
Bluetooth-enabled scanning gateways continuously scan for active tagged assets/tools (attached to Bluetooth tags) and report them to ON!Track. A logical entity is simply defined as any entity - location, container, vehicle or heavy equipment - that has a gateway installed (linked). Following is the type of information it provides:
- Expected: Assets assigned and should be present at the logical entity.
- Found: Assets that are physically present at the logical entity.
- Not found: Assets that are missing from the logical entity.
-
Unexpected: Assets present at the logical entity but not expected at that logical entity.
The Smart inventory check feature is available on both web and mobile platforms.
