ON!Track digitally records asset locations. Periodic inventory checks maintain accuracy by comparing expected versus actual locations. Discrepancies can be corrected by updating asset locations as necessary.
The Local Inventory check feature is only available on mobile. It lets you compare expected and actual assets at a Location, Employee or Storage asset. The reports generated can be shared via email with specified recipients.
Following is the information it provides:
- Not Found: all the expected assets which were not found at that Location/Employee/Storage asset.
- Found: what the user has already found at that Location/Employee/Storage asset.
- Unexpected: items which are unexpectedly found at that Location/Employee/Storage asset.
There are 3 ways to record an asset:
- BLE scanning: turn on BLE scanning to quickly find all active-tagged assets.
- Camera scan: confirm the assets to be found by scanning the labels with the camera. The icon for scanning is

- Manual entry: enter assets manually.
Instructions:
- Select Local Inventory and select the required field (Location, Employee, Storage Asset)

For Location:
- Select the required location.
- Select Send report for that location.
- Select the employee to whom you want to send the report (Max 5 Email Recipients) and click on continue.
- Select the format (PDF and Excel), and then select Send report.
- The report will be sent to the selected employees.
- For Employee:

- Select the required Employees.
- Select Send report for that Employee.
- Select the employee to whom you want to send the report (Max 5 Email Recipients) and select continue.
- Select the format (PDF and Excel), and then Send report.

For Storage Asset:
- Select the required Storage Asset.
- Select Send report for that Storage Asset.
- Select the employee to whom you want to send the report (Max 5 Email Recipients), and then select continue.
- Select the format (PDF and Excel), and then Send report.
Notes:
- An inventory check is limited to a single device.
- An inventory check session can be resumed after pausing, with the option to continue from where it was stopped, or it can be restarted.
- The inventory overview and report always include the start and finish date/time.
- Inventory check status is stored indefinitely until users start fresh, log out, or reinstall the app.
- If active tracking is enabled, the app will scan for Bluetooth-tagged assets using Bluetooth in the background for this user.
