How to transfer assets on the mobile app via smart inventory

Quick Transfer: This feature allows you to transfer individual assets swiftly to job sites, warehouses, storage assets, or workers. You can use Quick Transfer to immediately assign one asset or a quantity item to a responsible employee, a location, or a storage asset.

Transfer: This feature allows you to transfer multiple assets, especially to different job sites, containers, or workers. Compared to "Quick Transfer", you can also set a return date and add notes.

Instructions:

  • Click on the "Inventory" tab and select the required field (either location or storage asset)

Note: This process is consistent across all categories: locations and storage assets (Container/Kit, Van, Heavy Equipment).

  • Select the required location

a) Quick Transfer

If you click on quick transfer, the asset will be moved to the appropriate locations, employees, or storage assets with fewer steps. Apply these same steps to manage attributes for employees and storage assets.

  • Select "Quick Transfer".
  • Select the required location and employee.
  • Click on Assign the asset will be transferred to the selected location.
  • The delivery intimation will sent to the requester via email. 

b) Transfer

  • Open e.g., the  "Not Found" tab, select the required asset and click on Transfer.

  • Click on "View transfer cart" and the three dots for further actions:

    • View Asset Details: Check detailed information about the asset.

    • Remove from Cart: Remove from the transfer cart.

    • Close: Close the dropdown.

  • Transfer: If you click on transfer, the asset will be moved to the appropriate locations, employees, or storage assets in just a few easy steps. Apply these same steps to manage attributes for employees and storage assets.

  • Enter the transfer details, including the task code and optional delivery confirmation. Click "Done" to complete the transfer and move the asset to the new location.

  • This process is consistent across all categories: locations and storage assets (Container/Kit, Van, Heavy Equipment).
