The upcoming service will stay on its original schedule only if you edit a completed one-time service or the last completed instance of a recurring service. But if you edit the most recent completed instance of a recurring service, it will affect the schedule for the next service.
Instructions:
- Click on the asset tab and search for the required heavy equipment asset.
- Scroll down the asset details section and click on the historic services.
- Use the dropdown to view either "Historic Services" or "Upcoming Services."
- Switch to "Historic Services" from the dropdown, then select and open the service you need and click on edit to start the editing process.
- Update the completion kilometers and click “Complete” to finish.
- You can find the modified service under "Historic Services."
- Update the completion kilometer value for the most recent instance.
- If the user selects that the "For upcoming services" should get updated, then that schedule change is reflects appropriately in the system.
- If the user selects updates only "for the service" then the upcoming service instance stays as per original schedule.
- Here click on the "For upcoming services" and then click "Done".
- You will see the service is updated in both historic services and upcoming services.
