Roles: Administrator & Employee | Interface: Web

ON!Track enables you to create and utilize asset templates, streamlining the management of your asset fleet. A template can be linked to multiple assets that share common attributes, such as manufacturer, model, image, and description. By using templates, you can ensure consistency and efficiency across your assets.

There are two types of asset templates available:

  • Global Templates: Provided by Hilti for general use.
  • Local Templates: Custom templates created by you to meet specific needs.

You can create Local Templates through the following workflows:

  • Add template workflow under the administration tab in the asset templates section.
  • Add asset workflow, if you provide values for the manufacturer and model.
  • Asset import workflow, if you provide values for manufacturer and model

This documentation will guide you through the process of creating a template workflow when creating an asset, helping you make the most of ON!Track's capabilities.

Instructions:

  • Go to the assets section and click the "+" icon to add a new asset.

  • Enter the asset details and click on "Next" to move to "Enter additional information".

  • Add the additional information and click on "Complete".

  • Once you click "Complete," the asset will be successfully added.
  • To check the asset, click on Administration -->Templates and search for the required asset. You’ll see the asset in the template details under the asset template list.
