Roles: Administrator & Employee | Interface: Web

Smart Inventory on the Smart Map helps you quickly understand which assets are expected, found, not found, or unexpected inside a Van, Heavy Equipment (HE), or Container. You can access this information directly from the map without switching screens

Smart inventory of a Van:

  • Open the Smart Map tab.

  • Click on a cluster on the map to view and separate its assets.

  • Select an asset (such as a Van, HE, or Container) to open its Asset Details panel on the right side.

  • Inside the Asset Details panel, you can see:

    • Information about the selected asset
    • The Smart Inventory section with four inventory states:
      • Expected
      • Found
      • Not Found
      • Unexpected

  • When you click on any inventory category that includes one or more assets (e.g., Expected, Found, Not Found, or Unexpected):

    • The Smart Map displays only the assets that match the selected state.
    • The Asset Details panel remains open, allowing you to continue navigating and reviewing inventory without losing context.

    Example:
If you select Expected, the map will show only the expected assets for the selected Van, HE, or Container.
If you then click Found, the map will update again to show only the assets marked as found—while the main panel stays visible so you can easily switch between categories.

  • You can switch between different inventory states directly within the Smart Inventory panel.
Each time you select a category:
    • The map refreshes to show only the matching assets
    • The main asset details remain on the screen for easy review

This helps you:

  • Understand what should be in the asset
  • Confirm what was detected
  • Easily spot items that are missing or unexpected
  • Move quickly between lists with minimal clicks
