When does a user get the Unexpected Asset Removal Alert?

  • Updated

These are the conditions under which an Unexpected Asset Removal Alert is generated:

  • The asset is no longer detected by the gateway for a set period (called the "gone interval," usually 5–9 minutes).
  • No transfer was recorded: There was no manual or automated transfer of the asset to another (gateway-enabled) location.

The Unexpected Asset Removal Alert can be stopped in specific time windows. This means that if the conditions are met in this (user-defined) window, no alert is sent. What can be defined:

  • For which type(s) of gateway stop the alerts (all, warehouse gateway, vehicle gateway, etc.)
  • On which time window
  • On which week days

In example below you will not receive the alerts from Monday to Friday between 9.00 AM to 5.30 PM for all gateways. Alerts will be generated only outside this time window.
