How to setup automated asset status change for service results

The Service Settings section under Company Settings allows you to automate asset status updates based on service results, Passed or Failed.



 

What Admins Can Do

Admins can choose how asset statuses should be updated after a service is completed. They can set rules to update the status based on:

  • Both "Passed" and "Failed" results


     
  • Only "Passed" results


     
  • Only "Failed" results

These rules apply to all current and future services for that tenant.

How It Works

Once enabled:

  • The system will automatically update the asset’s status after a service is completed.
  • If multiple upcoming services are scheduled for the same asset, the status will be based on the most recent completed service.

Note: The automated asset status does not apply for bulk-service completion.
