How to initiate a system-supported search for a lost asset

Pre-requisites (if applicable):

To access Fleet Management services, you need an active ON!Track Ready account or a subscription to a paid tier (Lite or Pro). Your asset must be detectable, such as a Nuron tool, battery, or charger, have a sensor tag attached, or be scannable via  Near Field Communication (NFC).

Instructions:

  • Via Hilti Services action menu

    • In the asset list view select the asset you want to initiate the search for.

    • Change its status to lost or stolen and select the option to “Start monitoring”.

    • The asset will change its status to lost or stolen and a “monitoring” label next to it (visible in the asset list view).2024-12-13_12-13-49.jpg

The Hilti connectivity infrastructure will search for your asset, and you will receive a notification once it is located.

  • Via Status change

    • In the asset list view select the asset you want to change the status for and click "Status Change".
    • From the dropdown click on the "Lost or Stolen" option.
    • The asset will change its status to lost or stolen.
