What are Company Settings?

Company settings in the web version of ON!Track allow Admin users to set and enable various options. Typically configured during implementation, these settings don't need frequent changes. We'll outline the available options and what can be adjusted. For detailed content on some tabs, refer to other modules as needed.

To access company settings, click your name or company name in the top right corner and select "Company settings."

Company Details

In this section, customers can define and update their company information, such as uploading a logo (which appears on delivery notes), updating the address, and other fields. Note that updating the address in ON!Track does not update in SAP. Follow the official process with the credit and collection teams for address updates.

Asset Tracking

By enabling this toggle, mobile devices running ON!Track can perform background scanning for nearby Sensor-tag enabled assets, providing a more accurate overview of asset locations by sending approximate positions to ON!Track.

Deletion Settings

This toggle allows customers to decide if assets can be deleted after being transferred to a location. Usually, this is not needed, but it may be enabled if an asset needs to be deleted and recreated for any reason.

Check Inventory

This toggle lets customers choose whether end users performing inventory checks can manually confirm an asset’s presence or if all assets must be scanned to be included.

Hilti Asset Status

Customers can decide if they want the asset status for Hilti tools to be linked to the SAP status. For example, if a Hilti tool is scrapped, this status would be updated in ON!Track.

Private Mode Setting for Vans

Details of these features are covered in the Advanced Proactive Tracking module. Here, customers can set whether they want to track van locations and if they want to disable tracking for Trackunit-enabled vans during certain hours and days.

License and Usage Information

Customers can see which modules are enabled, along with the number of assets and users they have.

Asset Costs

Detailed in the ACR module, this section allows customers to define settings for the Asset Cost Reporting features.

Transfer Settings

Details of these features are covered in other sections. Here, customers can define delivery note layout, enable transfer confirmations, and enable or disable automated transfers.

Field Request

This feature allows customers to enable or disable the Field Request feature for mobile users.

ON!Track UNITE (API)

Customers on the Pro or Enterprise bundle can view their API credentials, set the initial password, reset the password, or link to the Unite Developer portal for more information.
