In the transfer workflow, a delivery note is automatically generated when an asset is moved from one location to another. This document provides details of the transfer and serves as a record for tracking purposes. To ensure awareness, users responsible for the asset will receive an email notification about the initiated transfer.
This process helps maintain transparency and accountability in asset management.
Instructions:
- Select the asset you want to transfer and click on "Transfer".
- Once the "Transfer" button is clicked, the asset is added to the "Transfer Cart" for processing:
- Go to the "Transfer Cart" and select "Transfer".
- Fill in all the required attributes, select either "Location," "Storage Asset," or "Employee," choose the value needed, and click "Assign."
- Fill in all the required attributes, select the employee to whom the asset should be assigned, choose the required value, and click "Assign."
- Set the transfer and return date (if required) and then click "Set dates."
- Add the task code and notes (if needed), review and edit the remaining data as necessary, then click "Confirm".
- The asset will be transferred to the designated location, and both the sender and receiver will receive a delivery note via email, which can also be downloaded from the email.

- You can download the delivery note from the transfer history for reference.
