How Quantity Item Transfers Work vs Asset Transfers using web platform

Quantity Item Transfers and Asset Transfers have distinct processes and rules which are mentioned below:

What is being moved	Bulk items like screws, cables, or nails.	Individual tools or assets like drills or machines.
Transfer	Select the Quantity Item (QI) you want to transfer and click on the transfer option. Choose the Allocation where the item will be moved. Enter the Quantity to be transferred. Make sure to fill in all the needed details when transferring items, whether it's to a Location, Storage Asset, or Employee.	Select the asset you want to transfer and click on the transfer cart. To transfer an asset, simply confirm the selected item(s) and click "Transfer" to move them to the desired location. Make sure to fill in all the needed details when transferring items, whether it's to a Location, Storage Asset, or Employee.
Quick Transfer	Select the Quantity Item (QI) you want to transfer and click on the quick transfer. Choose the Allocation type and fill out the required details where the item will be moved. Click on transfer now to transfer the quantity item.	Select the asset you want to transfer and click on the quick transfer. Confirm the asset and fill out the required details where the asset will be moved. Click on transfer now.
Transfer History	Click on the allocations for the required quantity item. Open Manage location and open the details for the require allocation and view the transfer history. Contains basic tracking through status and location.	Go to the "Administration" tab and select "Transfer History" to see the record of asset transfers. Detailed view of a single transfer history. Contains detailed history with date, notes, and signatures etc
Special rules	Max 500 items with “Available” status per transfer	Each asset has a “Home” (default) and “Assigned to” (current) location
