How search functionality works on the asset list in ON!Track

  • Updated

ON!Track provides powerful and flexible search on the asset list, allowing you to quickly find assets using either multi-keyword search or exact match search.

  • Multi-Keyword Search

    • You can type multiple words separated by spaces, like: Hilti Charger John.

ON!Track looks for each word across different asset fields (e.g., manufacturer, model, responsible worker).

The system shows assets that contain all the words, even if they appear in different places.

  • Example:
    • “Hilti” might be in the manufacturer field.
    • “Charger” in the model field.
    • “John” in the responsible worker field.

Tip: The words don’t need to be next to each other. As long as all are present somewhere, the asset will show up.

  • Exact Match Search Using Underscore

    • Use an underscore _ to search for an exact phrase. Example: Hilti_M900

The system treats it as one phrase: “Hilti M900”

    • It only shows assets where the full phrase appears exactly in that order.

Tip: Use this when you want very specific results.
