What is a shipment?

  • Updated

Please Note: This feature is only available to selected customers in Germany and Italy.

A shipment is a group of one or more fleet assets (tools or accessories) that should be picked up together in one go by a carrier.
One shipment can consist of multiple boxes if they should be picked up together.

Key Points about a Shipment:

  • Grouping: A shipment can include up to 50 fleet assets returned together. Your shipment in ON!Track serves as a digital pack list of the items you have packed. This is important so that you, the carrier and Hilti know what exact items you have packed to return to Hilti.

  • Tracking: Each shipment is tracked in ON!Track, allowing you to monitor its status from open to processing and all the way to submission.

  • Process: You create a shipment when starting a return, pack the selected fleet assets, and submit it for pickup.

Example:

If you have 10 tools to return, select them in ON!Track, pack them together, and create one shipment. You may use one box or multiple boxes if you cannot fit all 10 tools in one box.

Just indicate during checkout on HOL how many boxes you have used. This shipment will be picked up and processed as a single return.
