Enable Geo Tag Movement Detection (Admin)
Geo Tag movement detection is controlled by a tenant‑level master switch. Before the feature can be used, it must first be enabled by an Admin user in your ON!Track tenant.
Who can enable this feature?
Only users with Admin permissions can enable movement detection at company level.
If you are not an Admin and the feature is disabled, please contact your ON!Track Admin.
How to enable movement detection at company level
- Go to Company settings in ON!Track.
- Open the Geo Tag section.
- Enable the Movement detection switch.
- Select Save to apply the change.
Once saved, movement detection becomes available for use in your tenant.
Important notes
- Per‑asset activation required
Enabling movement detection at company level does not automatically activate it for all assets.
Movement detection must still be enabled individually for each Geo Tag–tracked asset. - Battery usage
Movement detection increases the number of location updates when an asset is moving.
This can result in higher battery consumption compared to standard tracking. - Standard updates remain unchanged
Movement detection does not affect the regular location updates sent at 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM. These updates continue as usual, in addition to movement‑based updates.
