Why can utilization appear late even if the machine ran today?

Utilization data is sent from the telematics gateway to ON!Track approximately every hour. In some cases, data may arrive later than expected due to:

  • Weak mobile network at the jobsite — The gateway stores data locally and sends it once connectivity is restored, which may take hours or even days

  • Data arriving out of sequence — When buffered data arrives in a burst, the system needs additional time to sort and recalculate daily values

What this means for you:
Today's utilization values may initially appear incomplete or slightly different than expected. As more data comes in, ON!Track automatically recalculates and corrects the values. Check back later for the most accurate picture.

Note: Engine hours are rounded to the nearest hour, so small differences from the machine's display are normal.
