There are several reasons why you might see missing days or gaps in your utilization data in ON!Track:
Most Common Causes
Machine Was Not Used — If the engine didn't run at all on a given day, there is no utilization record for that day. The chart simply shows no bar — it doesn't display a zero-value bar.
Rounding to Zero — If the engine ran for 30 minutes or less in a day, the rounding logic rounds it down to 0 hours, which effectively makes that day appear as a gap even though the machine was briefly used.
Gateway Connectivity Loss — If the gateway lost cellular connectivity for one or more days (e.g., underground work, remote site with no coverage), it buffers data locally and uploads it in a burst when reconnected.
-
Gateway in Sleep or Deep Sleep Mode — When vehicle battery drops below 12.1V, the gateway enters sleep mode and stops sending utilization data entirely (only hourly geolocation updates). Below 3.5V internal battery, even geolocation stops. Those days will show as gaps.
