How to edit the latest completed historic service for heavy equipment on the web platform?

  • Updated

Roles: Administrator | Interface: Web

The upcoming service will stay on its original schedule only if you edit a completed one-time service or the last completed instance of a recurring service. But if you edit the most recent completed instance of a recurring service, it will affect the schedule for the next service.

Instructions:

  • Click on the asset tab and search for the required heavy equipment asset.

  • Scroll down the asset details section and click on the historic services.

  • Use the dropdown to view either "Historic Services" or "Upcoming Services."
  • Switch to "Historic Services" from the dropdown, then select and open the service you need and click on edit to start the editing process.
  • Update the completion kilometres and click “Complete” to finish.

  • You can find the modified service under "Historic Services."
  • Update the completion kilometre value for the most recent instance.
  • If the user selects that the "For upcoming services" should get updated, then that schedule change is reflected appropriately in the system.
  • If the user selects updates only "for the service," then the upcoming service instance stays as per the original schedule.
  • Here, click on the "For upcoming services" and then click "Done".

  • You will see the service is updated in both historic services and upcoming services.
