How can I disconnect (or turn off) a gateway?

Stationary Gateway (AI G125)

You can turn off a Stationary Gateway (AI G125) by disconnecting the power cable. After unplugging the main power connection, wait about 30 seconds before reconnecting.

A tag is considered “gone” when it is not detected for two full scanning cycles, which means about 8 minutes for AI G125 tags. 

Van Gateway (TU-600)

You can turn off a Van Gateway (TU-600) by removing it from the OBD port of the vehicle. 

Telematics Gateway (TU-600)

You can turn off a Telematics Gateway (TU-600) by removing it from the OBD port of the vehicle. Please be aware that this might be challenging due to its complex installation.

If disconnected, the gateway will show as offline in ON!Track and will not function properly.

A tag is considered “gone” when it is not detected for two full scanning cycles, which means about 20 minutes for TU600 tags.

Note: It may take up to 10 minutes after rebooting for assets detected by the gateway to be visible in ON!Track.
