Roles: Administrator & Employee | Interface: Web
Tools often move between places like warehouses, vans, and jobsites. ON!Track uses smart tags and stationary gateways to track these movements and send alerts when a tool is unexpectedly removed.
During regular work hours, this can lead to too many alerts, even when the movement is planned. To avoid this, users with admin access can set quiet times for each location, van, container, or equipment with a stationary gateway, during these hours, alerts are paused.
Example: If your warehouse operates from 8 AM to 6 PM, and tools are regularly moved during that time, you can pause alerts for those hours.
Important: This feature is available only for ON!Track Pro and Enterprise licenses
The feature is accessible under Company Settings > Asset Tracking.
Step-by-step guide to set up the feature:
- Check the license type for your account (Pro, Enterprise, and Legacy licenses).
- Go to Company Settings and open Asset Tracking. In the Unexpected Asset Removal (UAR) Alert Configuration section.
- Click Edit next to the group you want to update, (like All Locations, All Containers, All On-Road Vehicles, or All Heavy Equipment).
- Select the days and time range when alerts should be paused.
Update required attribute/s and click on save to save the setting.
Notes:
- If a tool goes missing during a quiet time and doesn’t return after that period ends, ON!Track won’t send an alert. So it’s best to use quiet times only when regular movement is expected.
- Only users with admin access can set or change these alert settings.
