How to change the status of an asset on web platform

Roles: Administrator & Employee | Interface: Web

• Open the web platform 
  
  
   

• Using the Status Option:

  • To change an asset's status, first select the asset, then click on the 'Status' button.
    
    
     
  • From the dropdown, select the status you want to apply to this asset and its child assets (e.g., 'In Repair').
    
    
     

• Using the Multi Edit Option:

  • To change an asset's status, first select the assets, then click on the 'Multi Edit' button.
    
    
     
  • Select a field, choose 'Asset Status' as the field type, enter the desired status, and click 'Save Changes'.
    
    
    
    
    
    
  • Changing the status of a storage asset (e.g., to “In Repair”) will also change the status of all its children in both the cases.
