Managing asset status is quick and easy with the ON!Track mobile app. Whether you're an administrator or an employee, here are three simple ways to update asset statuses plus tips to make the most of the experience.
Using the Select Option:
- Open the ON!Track mobile app.
- Go to the Assets section. Click on

to select the asset you want to update.
- Tap More.
- Choose Change Status (e.g., "In Repair").
Note: If the asset is a storage asset, this will also update the status of all items stored inside it.
Using the three dot:
- Open the ON!Track mobile app.
- Go to the Assets section.
- Select the asset.
- Tap the three dots (⋮) in the top right corner.
- Choose Change Status (e.g., "In Repair").
Note: If the asset is a storage asset, this will also update the status of all items stored inside it.
Using the asset details:
- Open the ON!Track mobile app, go to Assets , select the asset, click on edit, and choose Change Status (e.g., "In Repair").
Note: If the asset is a storage asset, changing its status this way will not update the status of items stored inside it.
- Open the ON!Track mobile app, go to Assets , select the asset, click on edit, and choose Change Status (e.g., "In Repair").
Note:
- Bulk Status Update: You can multi-select assets and update their status in bulk (up to 500 assets at once). For storage assets, "Disposed" and "Retired" statuses may be disabled.
- Error Handling: If the status change fails, you should see an error message (e.g., "Unable to update status. Please try again.").
