How to check smart inventory on web platform

  • Updated

Roles: Administrator & Employee | Device: Web

Smart Inventory on the web lets you see, in one view, which tagged assets are currently at a specific warehouse, jobsite, van or container that uses a gateway.

ON!Track compares what should be there (assigned assets) with what the gateways actually see (Smart Tags) and shows you:

  • Found – assets seen by the gateway

  • Not found – assets that should be there but are not seen

  • Unexpected – assets seen there but not assigned to that place

This gives you a quick, live inventory check from your browser, without walking around to count tools.

The Smart inventory check feature is available on both web and mobile platforms.

Follow the steps below to perform the smart inventory check for:

Summary

Smart Inventory on the web helps administrators and employees see which tagged tools are present at a location, such as a warehouse, container, vehicle, or machine. Gateways automatically scan for nearby tags and update the information every few minutes. This gives users an almost real‑time view of which tools are found, missing, or unexpected, without needing to walk around the site.
