Smart Inventory on mobile is called Gateway Inventory. It uses a gateway to automatically detect assets with sensor tags.
Before You Start
- You need access to the ON!Track mobile app
- The location or equipment must have a working gateway
- Only assets supported by the gateway will appear in the results
ON!Track compares what should be there (assigned assets) with what the gateways actually see (Smart Tags) and shows you:
Expected - assets expected at the location
Found – assets seen by the gateway
Not found – assets that should be there but are not seen
Unexpected – assets seen there but not assigned to that place
The Smart inventory check feature is available on both web and mobile platforms.
Instructions:
- Open the ON!Track mobile app.
- Tap Inventory Select Gateway Inventory.
- Choose the type (Location, Van, or Equipment).
- Select the specific item from the list View the inventory categories:
- Expected
- Found
- Not Found
- Unexpected
- Tap any category to see detailed items
