Can I sort the exported smart asset list by "Last Seen Date" and "Last Seen Time"?

The Export Smart Asset List feature in ON!Track enables users to generate an Excel report containing key tracking details of all smart assets within their tenant. It offers insight into when and by which source each smart asset was last detected, assisting users in tracking asset movements and ensuring data accuracy.

 

Who Can Access This Feature?

Any user with access to the Smart Map tab in ON!Track can export the smart asset list. This access is granted through:

  • A custom role assigned by an administrator
  • The Admin or Support Admin role

How Does It Work?

  • Navigate to the Smart Map tab in ON!Track.
  • Locate the Export icon in the top right corner.
  • Click the Export icon to generate an Excel file.

Instructions:

  • Select the Smart Map tab on the screen.

 

 

  • To export the smart asset list from the Smart Map, click on the "Export" icon. The system will generate and download an Excel file containing the asset details.

  • Here, you can view all asset attributes in the Smart Asset List, including Name, Scan Code, Inventory Number, Serial Number, and more.

 

  • To sort the exported Smart Asset List by "Last Seen Date" and "Last Seen Time", select the entire sheet. Use the custom filter option in Excel to organise the data as needed.

 

  • Add sort by "Last Seen date" and "Last Seen time" and click on ok.

 

  • You will see that the content is sorted as per "Last Seen date" and "Last Seen time.

 

Notes:

  • This feature is available only on the web version of ON!Track.
  • Users without access to the Smart Map tab cannot use this functionality.
  • The system might slow down if the number of smart assets exceeds 30000.

Users can effectively track and manage smart assets by using the Export Smart Asset List feature, thereby enhancing asset visibility and operational efficiency.
