How to view & edit historic service results and checklists

  • Updated

Roles: Administrator & Employee | Interface: Web & Mobile

Key Points:

The following points apply to both the web platform and mobile applications:

  • Checklist is read-only after completion — When you view a historic service, the checklist is shown exactly as it was at the time of completion. It cannot be edited.

  • The service result can be changed conditionally — you can change it from 'Fail' to 'Pass' (or the reverse) only if all mandatory checklist items are completed. Otherwise, the result stays locked.

  • Asset status is not affected by historic edits — Asset status updates automatically based on the service result and company settings during active service completion. When editing a historic service, these automatic updates do not apply. You can still manually change the asset status separately if needed.

  • Template changes don't affect records — Historical services retain the original checklist data to maintain a clear record. Future changes to the checklist template will not affect these records.

Note: On mobile application, if you complete a checklist for a historic service, items will appear unmarked based on the original template. Once completed, the checklist locks.
