How to add a service template (critical and recurrent) with a checklist

Before moving ahead, please ensure you have the correct settings enabled for service checklist. To learn more, please check: How to setup automated asset status change for service results.

You can add, edit, or delete templates in the Administration section and adjust notification settings in the Alert Settings.

Creating a service template with a checklist

Creating a service template with a checklist in allows you to standardize service processes, define mandatory steps, and ensure tasks are completed in the correct sequence for better results.

 

Instructions

  • Click on the "Service Templates" from the tab Administration --> Assets.

  • Here you can view the various Service Templates.


     
  • Enter the Name, Description, Service Frequency, Notifications, and Attachments. Then, click "Complete" to save the service template.

    Note: To create a Critical and Recurrent Service Template, Select the service frequency as "Recurrent".


     

    Add Service Checklist

    • Scroll to the "Service Checklist" section and click "Create" to start adding checklist items.


       
    • You can add up to 20 checklist items (each up to 100 characters) and mark them as mandatory or optional using the "Mandatory" toggle.

      If a checklist item is marked as mandatory, it must be completed before the service can be marked as "Passed".


       

    • You can reorder checklist items using drag-and-drop, then click "Complete" to save the template.

  • The new Service Template (Critical and Recurrent) will be added to the list.
