New Feature
Geo tag movement detection
What is movement detection
Movement Detection is a smart feature for Geo Tags that improves tracking efficiency and accuracy.
How it works
When a tracked asset starts moving, the Geo Tag sends a “Movement started” update, which appears in the asset details as shown in the example below.
When the asset stops, it sends a “Movement stopped” update, which is also displayed in the asset details.
These movement updates work alongside the regular 6 AM and 6 PM updates.
Why is this important
More frequent updates when it matters: Instead of fixed hourly intervals, updates happen only during movement.
Power-efficient: Conserves battery by reducing unnecessary transmissions.
Compatible with all existing Geo Tags: No need to buy new hardware.
Accuracy & Awareness
Know when your assets move, instantly.
Movement detected. Updates delivered.
Stay in the loop with real-time movement alerts.
Things to keep in mind
Battery life may be affected due to additional updates during movement.
Ideal for assets that move frequently and need near real-time visibility.
Introducing role‑based geo‑visibility in ON!Track
You might not want asset locations shown on the map to be visible to every user in your ON!Track account.
With our new role‑based visibility controls, you can now decide which user roles are allowed to see geolocations on the Smart Map and in the asset detail view.
Whether you want to limit visibility to selected roles or turn it off entirely, ON!Track now gives you the flexibility and privacy your organization needs.
Stay in control. Stay compliant. Stay efficient.
Switch Account
Users can now switch between tenants directly from the web app.
If a user has access to multiple tenants, a “Switch Account” option is available under their username—allowing seamless tenant switching without re-login.
