| Stationary Gateway AI G125 | Vehicle Gateway TU-600 (VIM) | Telematics Gateway (Heavy equipment) TU-600 (HEM) |
| What is the scan range of the gateway? | 30 m With a clear line of sight | 30 m With a clear line of sight | 30 m With a clear line of sight |
| How many tags can the gateway process per data transfer? | 500 | 500 | 500 |
| How often does the gateway scan? | Continuous | Continuous | Continuous |
| Within what time is a tag picked up that enters the range of the gateway? | ~1 min. | 2 min. if speed > 8 km/h 10 min. if speed < 8 km/h | 2 min. if ignition ON 10 min. if ignition OFF |
| How long does it take for a gateway to update that a tag is no longer present? | ~9 min. | 20 min. | 20 min. |
How long does it take for a gateway to show as offline in ON!Track? (For vehicle and heavy equipment gateways this happens if no tag is present, but could also happen for other reasons. Please, contact Hilti if you have doubts about your situation.) | ~5 min | 20 min | 20 min |
How fast does a transfer happen if I do not set up a transfer delay? The transfer is initiated as soon as the tag is picked-up | <1 s | 2 min. if active 10 min. if inactive | 2 min. if active 10 min. if inactive |
How fast does a transfer happen if I do set up a transfer delay? The gateway checks if the transfer should still happen the set delay time has passed | <1 s + set delay time | 2 min. if active 10 min. if inactive + set delay time | 2 min. if active 10 min. if inactive + set delay time |
| What does the system do when two (or more) gateways scan a tag at the same time? | If the arriving asset is tracked by two or more gateway enabled locations, automated transfers will not be initiated. | ||
| Within what temperature range is the gateway approved for operations? | 0°C to +70°C | -20°C to +55°C (or +60°C with external/internal DC supply, without affecting backup battery performance). | -20°C to +55°C (or +60°C with external/internal DC supply, without affecting backup battery performance). |
| Within what temperature range is the gateway approved for storage? | -20°C to +70°C | -40°C to +70°C | -40°C to +70°C |
How do we prioritize last seen location sources?
| The priority is as follows | 1. Gateway Al G125 > 2. Gateways TU-600 VIM/HEM > 3. Mobile |
| How does this logic work with a practical example? | The last seen location source is based on device priority. For example: If the tag is being tracked by a stationary gateway (AI G125) and a vehicle gateway, then the last seen source will be the stationary gateway (Al G125). |
Note:
- When the vehicle's residual battery level is reached, the Vehicle and Telematics Gateways enter sleep mode. In this mode they stop scanning continously and update to the cloud every hour. The vehicle battery is never completely depleted.
