How smart maps work?

  • Updated

Navigation

The Smart map tab will display assets or locations in a map view.

Assets and Clusters

On the Smart Map, tools are displayed as either individual assets or clusters.

  • Individual Assets: Tools are shown separately on the map.
  • Clusters: Groups of tools located close together, displayed as a single cluster.
  • The map automatically adjusts to show assets individually or as clusters based on the zoom level.

Zooming options

Web

  • Mouse Over: When you hover your cursor over an asset pin, the mini‑card expands and shows more detail. This helps you quickly identify the asset without clicking.

  • Single Click: When you click once on an asset pin, the expanded mini‑card stays open and the asset details panel appears on the side.

  • Double Click: Increases the zoom level. This shows more map details and, if available, the accuracy circle (only shown when the source provides accuracy data).

  • Asset Detail Map: Find the required asset and open its location details. The double‑click zoom feature also works when the location map is opened in full‑screen mode.

    • When viewing a selected asset in full screen, double‑clicking its pin zooms in further and shows more map details, including the accuracy circle (if available).

Mobile

  • Double Click: Find the required asset via smart map option. Double‑clicking on the map increases the zoom level. This shows more map details and, if available, the accuracy circle (only shown when the source provides accuracy data).

  • Asset Detail Map: Find the required asset and open its location details. Tapping this action will zoom the maps to show the full accuracy circle if available
