How does ON!Track work?
ON!Track calculates Working Days on Site based on the asset's time spent at a jobsite and the working calendar configured for that location.

Administration → Cost Location Settings → Find your location → Edit the setting
Each jobsite has settings that allow the customer to define:
- Working days (for example, Monday to Friday)
- Working hours
- Public holidays or other non-working days
When an asset is transferred into a jobsite, ON!Track records the Date Arrived. When the asset is transferred out, ON!Track records the Date Left.
The initial duration is calculated as:
Working Days on Site = Date Left − Date Arrived
ON!Track then applies the jobsite calendar rules and excludes any non-working days, including:
- Weekends configured as non-working days
- Holidays defined in the jobsite settings
The business rules are applied according to the working days and working hours configured for the jobsite.
Example
- Asset transferred to the jobsite: 1 January
- Asset transferred out of the jobsite: 26 January
- Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) are configured as non-working days
- Within this period there are 3 weekends (6 non-working days)
- One additional holiday is configured on 15 January
Calculation:
- Total days between 1 January and 26 January = 26 days
- Minus weekends = 6 days
- Minus holiday = 1 day
Working Days on Site = 19 days
These remaining days are considered the chargeable Working Days on Site and are used in the asset cost calculation.
