Customer Case:
The customer wants to understand what a jobsite is in ON!Track Asset Cost Reporting (ACR) and how non-working days, such as weekends or holidays, can be excluded from asset cost calculations.
How does ON!Track work?
In ON!Track, a Jobsite is a location where customers can define the rules used for asset cost calculations. These settings determine how ON!Track calculates Workdays on Site and which days should be considered chargeable.
For each jobsite, customers can configure:
- Working days (for example, Monday to Friday)
- Working hours (start and end business hour)
- Weekends that should be treated as non-working days
- Public holidays and other location-specific holidays
These settings are important because different jobsites may have different work schedules. ON!Track uses the jobsite configuration to calculate the actual working days an asset spends at the location.
When calculating Workdays on Site, ON!Track automatically excludes any configured non-working days, such as weekends and holidays. As a result, only the remaining chargeable working days are used in asset cost calculations.
Recommendation and workaround (optional):
To configure or exclude specific days from cost calculations:
- Go to Administration in ON!Track.
- Navigate to Cost Location Settings.
- Search for and select the required location.
- Edit the root location settings.
- Configure:
- Working days
- Working hours
- Weekends
- Holidays and other non-working days
